Recent Beauty Buys

Hi there!! For this weeks post, I thought it would be fun to share my recent beauty purchases and a mini review of how the product is working for me and if I love it or not!  I love makeup so much want to help all of you with your beauty purchases. It’s always helpful to know if someone is loving a product before you buy, so you can have an idea of how it works. I hope this is helpful to see what products are currently in my beauty regime. Enjoy my loves!!

The Estēe Lauder Double Wear foundation has been one of my go to foundations as of lately. In the summer, I try not to use foundation as it is very think and can look cakey in hot weather. But as Fall starts to transition, I’ve been loving this! It really does stay all day and is very full coverage. A plus side to this product is the shade range that Estēe Lauder has. I went to my local Macy’s counter and received a free 10 day sample before I actually purchased the item. Pro Tip: I always get a sample of a foundation before I purchase! This comes in handy if you find yourself purchasing the wrong shade and having to return foundation after foundation.

The Benefit Hoola Quickie Contour Stick is amazing!!!!! I am in love to say the least. I never thought I would enjoy cream contouring until I tried a sample of this product. I use this more as a bronzer to warm up my temples, cheek bones, and jaw line. This is a cream to powder product but I always follow up with a powder bronzer to set it all in place. I really enjoy this product when I am not wearing foundation because it is so natural and gives such a beautiful color to the skin without being orange.

This is the Becca highlighter in Champagne Pop! How cute is the limited edition packaging and champagne bottle?! I have been using this higher for a little over a year and a half. I repurchased this item in the limited edition packaging because I couldn’t resist! I really do love this product because it looks so beautiful on the skin. It can look natural or you can build it up to be a blinding highlight. In addition, this is a multi-use product!! I use this in the inner corner of my eyes and as a lid shade as eyeshadow. I highly highly highly recommend picking this gem up!

If you love the Buxom tingling lip glosses, then you will love this lip gloss from Soap and Glory! This is the Sexy Mother Pucker plumbing lip gloss. I discovered this at target and have bought so many since I fell in love. They smell like yummy baked goods and look stunning on the lips. They are also very reasonably priced! Check them out!!

This is Mac Fix+, I have heard so much about this from all of my favorite youtubers. I decided it was time to give it a try as I needed a new setting spray. It works in so many ways! You can use it as a primer, setting spray, a medium for shadows, etc. I can really tell a difference in my makeup when I use it because it kind of melts your makeup into your skin. Now I can’t do my makeup without it!!

Last but certainly not least is the Colourpop Cosmetics highlighting palette in Gimme More. The shades are stunning for highlighting but I actually have been using this palette as eyeshadow. I prefer to put a shimmery color on my lid with a transition shade above it.These colors are perfect because they are so shimmery and beautiful! Colourpop has a lot of affordable products that are very high quality!!

YAY! You made it to the end! I hope you enjoyed reading about my recent beauty buys! I am so happy I am back to posting more blogs. The start of the school year was crazy and it was really hard to try and find time to squeeze in writing a blog post. I am thinking about writing my next post on how I decorated my college room!! Let me know in the comments what type of blogs you would like to see next! Thanks for LIVing a little with me today!!
